Stress causes hair to fall out. Aswell as Pregnancy does and hair dye too. Discontinue to dye hair and start taking vitamins for your hair.

I doubt it is the product, I would get to a derma to find out why it is burning it shouldnt be.

Ive heard a number of stories about continual use of hair dye destroying your scalp but never shampoo, so if u dye ur hair a lot that wont help, lots of nasty chemicals in hair dye it is a bit scary.

The hair dye will make your scalp burn as they are quite strong. Next time you what to dye your hair try using a highlighting kit as it doesnt touch your scalp with the gap. There is also a shampoo in boots which you could try, just ask for their sensitive range hope it helps.

try using a baby shampoo.... they are formulated for sensitive skin and have no toxins in that will burn you. if they are good for a baby you know they have to be ok for even the most sensitive skin.

hair dye is a nightmare for your hair... ti may look good but it takes all the natural oil and neutrients from your hair... so if you need to dye it try highlighting, or streaking as this will leed less re-doing and it wont look bad when it starts to grow out.

you can get special vitamins for hair and nails. try speaking to a pharmasist who will tell you what you need. xxx

ok i have been a hairdresser for 8 years now and hair-dye should not burn OR make your hair fall out (unless of course you are trying to bleach to white which is a big NO NO) in actual fact highlighting kits are worse for the hair than on-the-scalp dyes or bleach as highlighting kits are bleach formulated to cut through dark hair meaning a stronger concentration of bleach and peroxide. so don't worry about the dye, that will not be causing the problem and neither should shampoo be doing really. i suggest that maybe you are having an allergic reaction to either something you are using on your hair or something you are eating, you should go to your doctors and explain the situation so he can evaluate you, but bear in mind doctors are NOT trained chemists so therfore to err on the side of caution he may well tell you to stay away from bleaching/dyeing as people are scared of chemistry that they don't understand. all i can suggest is that if you are bleaching your hair to make sure to use professional products, use a bleach formulated for all over head bleaching and NOT bleach used for highlights as this WILL burn as is not formulated for touching the scalp, and only use 20vol developer to mix with the bleach. only EVER bleach to the pale yellow stage (think inside of a banana skin, creamy/pale yellow) and then tone with a toner, i would suggest a mild one in your case like born blonde toners (they have a few variety of blonde shades and contain NO peroxide so therefore are easier on the scalp/hair)
