Question about hair dye.?

I went to the store today and bought L'oreal Excellence Creme. This is a hair dye, right? Also, my hair is light brown, and I got a dark-blondish color. On the side of the box, it says to do a skin allergy test 48 hours before use. The problem is that I need my hair blonde by tomorrow. I don't have any allergies at all, and I don't have a sensitive scalp. What would happen if I were to simply skip the skin test?

Question about hair dye.?

Yes, it's hair dye. I never understand the allergy test thing because they want you to do it 48 hours before but you can't let the dye sit more than an hour or so before it starts loosing its effectiveness. If you really need to have the change done by tomorrow, I'd skip it but take the dye out immediately if you start to have any burning.

Question about hair dye.?

i never try the skin test you would proberly have a rash or itching if you are alergic

Question about hair dye.?

I never do the skin test. If you know you dont have allergys then just do it.

Question about hair dye.?

I've never done the skin test either. Never had a problem, although I am sure that there is a reason that they have to put that on there...some people must have a problem with it. Good luck!

Question about hair dye.?

If you are allergic to the die then your head and face would swell to the size of a watermellon and would have to get steroid shots to reduce the swelling. DO THE SKIN TEST FIRST!
