Permanent hair dye chemicals?

hello

i heard that when you use permanent hair dye, although the colour fades, the chemicals always remain. i have used permanent dye in the past more than once and would appreciate any advice on how to help my hair recover while i am growing it out. and is there any way to help remove the chemical residue?

i am never using permanent hair dye again!

i have had severe reactions to the chemicals in hair dye and i think if the chemicals were to remain then so would my syptoms so no i think they must fade too.

im glad to hear you are never going to use it again. i wish i could learn my lesson.
