Best brand of blonde hair dye?

hey im going to try and dye my hair a lighter cool blonde (again.. the last time it turned my hair greenish but not lighter) and i was wondering if you ladies could recommend the best brand of semi permanent blonde hair dye, preferably one with some high lights or something. i have kinda dark dirty blonde hair. i would like it to last about a month or two.

if you would like to go blonde, i recommend you go to a salon! even if your current hair color is dark blonde, you should still get it professionally done. Blonde is really tricky to achieve at home.

well the best bet is to go to the hair dresser. when you are dying your hair blondish, its very hard to get it there. takes 3 for 4 trys for the perfect blond, which dosent last to long. go to a hairdresser an get your hair foiled, it will loook awsome. it may cost more then the box. but from previous experience, dying your hair blond from the box never turns out.

Semi-perm is hard to do if your trying to go blonde from a darker color. Usually you have to bleach it then tone it, or actually use a kit that does both. I have been coloring my hair blonde forever. (I have dirty blonde to light brown colored hair naturally.) I would reccomend either a salon, or to just go ahead and dye it blonde. You can always re-color it the color you originally had (or as close to as possible.) Remember to deep condition ALOT though!! you mix it with 40 peroxide which is around 2 dollars.

and you mix tthe two put it in your hair leave it in longer for lighter.
